Erma E. Harmon, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2004, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 3, 1913, at Oriole, Mo., daughter of Charles G. and Amanda D. Schlimme Kassel. She and Amos J. Harmon were married Oct. 23, 1948, at Piggott, Ark. He died March 27, 2001.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Egypt Mills, VFW 3838 Auxiliary and Eagles Aerie 3775. She worked for Roth Tobacco Factory as a packer for 18 years, then for Superior Electric 32 years on an assembly line. She retired in 1974.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy McLain of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, four brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kevin Olson officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery at Cape Giardeau.
