ERMA A. SEIBERT

JACKSON -- Erma Alma Seibert, 80, of Jackson, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 1994, at her home.

She was born March 16, 1913, at Fruitland, daughter of Albert and Josephine Sheppard Mitchell. She and George Seibert were married Jan. 25, 1941, at Jackson. He died Oct. 7, 1988.

Seibert had done domestic work for various Jackson families, and was a member of St. John's AME Church.

Survivors include two sons, Calvin Mitchell of Cape Girardeau, Brian Seibert of Florissant; a daughter, Virginia Johnson of St. Louis; two brothers, James Mitchell of Jackson, Marvin Mitchell of St. Louis; two sisters, Fern Williams and Hester Wheeler of St. Louis; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, three sisters, and a grandson.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Jimmy Merity will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
