OLMSTED, Ill. -- Eric Paul Schnaare, 41, of Littleton, Colorado, formerly of Olmsted, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015, in Lakewood, Colorado.
He was born Jan. 22, 1974, in Sikeston, Missouri, son of Larry G. and Victoria Hinkle Schnaare Sr.
Eric was a boiler maker with Union Local 663 and was a former member of Olmsted Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors include three children, Lindsey Grace Smith of Vancouver, Washington, and Cheyenne and Erika Schnaare of Belleville, Illinois; his father and stepmother, Larry G. and Joyce Schnaare Sr. and his mother and stepfather, Victoria "Vicky" and Bruce Sauerbrunn, all of Olmsted; two brothers, Larry G. (Noellia) Schnaare Jr. of Littleton and Andrew (Sherry) Schnaare of Olmsted; a sister, Michelle (Keith) Hannan of Olmsted; a stepbrother, Roger (Angie) Weiss of St. Louis; two stepsisters, Autumn (Colby) Stellhorn of Troy, Illinois, and Erik Weiss of Peoria, Illinois; maternal grandmother, Alma Robertson of Olmsted; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Illinois.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Kelley officiating. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery in Grand Chain, Illinois.
