Eric Lynn Langston, 40, of Cape Girardeau passed away Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born Sept. 29, 1977, in Cape Girardeau to Charles Lynn and Patsy Rumfelt Langston.
He and Nikia Perdue were married Aug. 17, 2001, at Cape Girardeau.
Eric was an avid and accomplished bowler. He was a hall of fame member of the Cape Girardeau U.S. Bowling Conference Association, having earned several 300s along with other honors.
Survivors include his parents of Cape Girardeau; wife, Nikia Langston of Cape Girardeau; son, Tyler Langston of Cape Girardeau; stepdaughter, Tessa Langston of Cape Girardeau; brother, Daren Langston of Cape Girardeau; half-brother, Christopher Langston of Scott City; three aunts, Brenda Rumfelt, Beverly Meyer and Sherry Holloway; and two uncles, Leroy Rumfelt and Scottie Langston.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Funeral Home-Jackson. Celebration of life will follow at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Douglas Breite officiating.
Burial will take place at a later date at Russell Heights Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to the Kidney Foundation.
