DUTCHTOWN -- Ercie Mae Tucker, 89, of Dutchtown died Saturday, Nov. 15, 1997, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 12, 1908, in Wyatt, daughter of William and Aldenia Brock Lynn.
She married Clarence Leo Tucker on Sept. 6, 1930, in Scott City. He died Sept. 14, 1980.
She was a machine operator and sewer for Florshiem Shoes. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City.
Survivors include three sons, Clarence A. Tucker of Festus, William L. Tucker of Pevely and Gary Tucker of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Opal Stevens of Dutchtown and Olivia Scherer of Benton; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City from 5 to 7 p.m. today, with parish prayers being said at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City. The Rev. Pat Wissman will officiate, and burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
