Ercie Rhodes

Ercie Jane Rhodes, 80, of Scott City died Friday, March 20, 2009, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 15, 1928, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Ellis and Tilla Jane Carroll Henderson. She and Grover "Glenn" Rhodes were married Sept. 24, 1945, at Cape Girardeau.

Rhodes had baked pies at Wimpy's Restaurant during her younger years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Scott City.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Glenn Rhodes of Scott City; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating.

Interment will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
