SIKESTON - Emmitt Blue, 79, of Sikeston, died Friday, June 28, 1991, at Sikeston Health Care Center.
He was born July 8, 1911 in Ellsinore to the late James and Addie Graham Blue. He lived in Sikeston for the past eight years and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Blue was employed with the state of Missouri at Fulton Hospital until his retirement in 1967.
Survivors include a brother, Rubert Blue of Sparta, Ill., and two sisters, Pauline Privett, of California, Mo., and Mary Thompson of Sikeston.
Friends may call Monday from 9:30 a.m. until funeral hour at 1 p.m. at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Robert Kriete, of Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston, will officiate.
Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
