EMMETT G. TAYLOR

PERRYVILLE -- Emmett G. "Buddy" Taylor, 75, of Route 2, Perryville, formerly of Scott County, died Friday, Nov. 5, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 5, 1918 near Blodgett, son of Glen Allen Taylor and Katie Louise Kraft Taylor.

He was a retired farmer and had lived in the Perryville area 30 years.

He was married to Quennia Simmons, who preceded him in death in 1972. He then married Allie White, who survives.

Other survivors include his twin sister, Emma Pinkerton, Charleston, and two nephews.

Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, with the Rev. Dale Huff, pastor of United Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today.
