RICHMOND, Va. -- Emmett C. Dohogne, 76, of Richmond, formerly of Cape Girardeau, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 14, 1994, at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond. He was born Dec. 17, 1917, in Kelso, Mo., the son of Leo and Louise Diebold Dohogne. He married Alice Perez on March 27, 1944, in Tampa, Fla. She died Aug. 3, 1960. RICHMOND, Va. -- Emmett C. Dohogne, 76, of Richmond, formerly of Cape Girardeau, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 14, 1994, at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond.

He was born Dec. 17, 1917, in Kelso, Mo., the son of Leo and Louise Diebold Dohogne. He married Alice Perez on March 27, 1944, in Tampa, Fla. She died Aug. 3, 1960. On Aug. 25, 1962, he married Shirley Bugg of Richmond.

While living in Cape Girardeau, he was employed by Clemens Jewelry Store. In Richmond, he was employed by the Kolbe Company until his retirement. He was a World War II Air Force veteran, serving as a bombardier on a B-17, and was a prisoner of German forces for 11 months. He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Eric Dohogne of Colorado Springs, Colo., Keith Dohogne of Richmond and Christopher Dohogne of Ft. Rucker, Ala.; a daughter, Catherine Brown of Houston; five brothers, Linus Dohogne and Urban Dohogne of Paragould, Ark., Tiburtius (Tiber) Dohogne of St. Louis, and Silas Dohogne and Anthony Dohogne of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Ada Roussell and Viola Dohogne of Cape Girardeau; and 10 grandchildren.

A brother and a sister preceded him in death.

Funeral Mass will be conducted Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Richmond. A memorial Mass will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Old St. Vincent's Church in Cape Girardeau.
