CAIRO, Ill. -- Emmajean Calvert, 71, of Barlow, Ky., formerly of Cairo, died Monday, Dec. 15, 1997, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo.
Calvert was a cook at the former St. Mary's Hospital, and member of First Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin Calvert; three daughters, Kay Patterson of Clarkston, Mich., Sue Moreland of Ware, Connie Bray of Barlow; five sons, Edwin Calvert of East Cape Girardeau, David Calvert of Olive Branch, Melvin Calvert of Bardwell, Ky., Michael Calvert, Mounds Route 1, Jerry Calvert of Cairo; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Dr. Bill Mason officiating. Burial will be in Mound City National Cemetery.
