PERRYVILLE - Emma M. Gibbar, 100, of Perryville, died Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville.
She was born Dec. 16, 1893, in Perry County, to Felix B. and Isabella Brewer Kline.
On April 13, 1914, she married Clell A. Gibbar. He preceded her in death on Aug. 9, 1986.
Survivors include three sons, Percy J. Gibbar and Vincent T. Gibbar, both of Perryville, and Lester C. Gibbar of St. Charles; two daughters, Elba M. Welker and Velma Lee Huber, both of Perryville; one sister, Theresa Park of Summerland, Canada.
Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella.
Friends may call from 3:30 to 9 p.m., today, and again from 6:30 - 11:15 a.m., Monday, at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
Parish prayers will be recited at the funeral home today, at 7:30 p.m., and again, at 10 a.m., Monday.
Funeral services will be held Monday, at 11:30 a.m., at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
