She was born March 18, 1918, in Union County, daughter of Julius and Georgia Davis Peters. Johnson retired as housekeeping supervisor at City Care Center. JONESBORO, Ill. -- Emma Johnson, 82, of Jonesboro died Thursday, April 6, 2000, at Jonesboro Health Care Center.
She was born March 18, 1918, in Union County, daughter of Julius and Georgia Davis Peters.
Johnson retired as housekeeping supervisor at City Care Center. She was a member of Kornthal Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a friend, Carita Miller of Jonesboro.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Anna Cemetery.
Crain Funeral Home of Anna is in charge of arrangements.
