Emma Jane Henrichsen, 90, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, in Sebring, Florida.
She was born April 28, 1924, in Advance, Missouri, daughter of Franklin and Edith Irene Humphrey Farrar. She and Dr. Arthur Henrichsen were married April 29, 1978, in Carson City, Nevada. He preceded her in death Jan. 7, 1995.
Emma was a dental assistant more than 20 years in Sepulveda, California. She was a member of Lynwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau and the Red Hat Society. She loved to read and play cards. She dearly loved her family and gave to multiple charities.
Survivors include two sisters, Verda Minton of Katy, Texas, and Alice Ketcher of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Bill Farrar Sr. of Rolla, Missouri; two stepsons, Robert Henrichsen of Auburn, California, and Arthur "Lon" (Janet) Henrichsen of Virginia; two stepdaughters, Lynne Henrichsen of West Hollywood, California, Kay (Ken) Burgdorff of West Covina, California; and two special cousins, Linda and Jerry Eggimann of Advance.
She was preceded in death by a son, Tom Marshall; a brother, Carl Farrar; and three sisters, Juanita Farrar, Mary Evans and Dorothy Bowers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
