EMMA G. DONALDSON

CHARLESTON -- Emma G. Donaldson, 88, of Charleston, died Wednesday, June 15, 1994, at Charleston Manor.

She was born Dec. 23, 1905, in Mississippi County, daughter of George and Matilda Davis Whitlock. She and Tom Donaldson were married July 8, 1922. He died March 13, 1977.

Donaldson was a member of First General Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Howard Donaldson of Charleston, Bob Donaldson of Bertrand; two daughters, Betty Brown of Bertrand, Iddlene Heaton of Bloomfield; three sisters, Dollie McReynolds of Evansville, Ind., Mattie Garrett of Cynchina, Ill., Ruby Andrews of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; 33 grandchildren, and a number of great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, five brothers and four sisters.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McMikle Funeral Home here, with the Rev. Bill Meeks officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Saturday.
