Emily Ann Walther Weinheimer, 89, of Houston died Sunday, March 8, 2015, in Houston.
She was born Nov. 6, 1925, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Gustav and Lucile Walther.
Survivors include a son, Jim Weinheimer (Dee); six grandchildren, Catherine Drury (Kevin), Anne McGraw, David McGraw, Mark Weinheimer, Lisa Humphrey; three great-grandchildren, Emma Drury, Sarah Drury, Laura Drury; and an "adopted" daughter, Becky Arbuckle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Diane Lawson; and a sister, Charlotte Auer.
Emily was a member of Spring Woods Methodist Church since 1988.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Houston.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with a graveside service to follow at the funeral home's Garden of Memories, 1101 Antoine Drive in Houston.
