Emilie Moeslein, 93, of Altenburg died Saturday, May 24, 1997, at her home.
She was born Dec. 25, 1903, in Altenburg to Joseph and Johanna Ahner Hoehn. She married Charles Frederick Moeslein on Sept. 17, 1923, and he preceded her in death Aug. 19, 1988.
She was a housewife. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Altenburg Trinity Ladies Aid and Altenburg Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two daughters, Gladys Abernathy of Altenburg and Doris Waters of Litchfield, Ill.; four sons, Edward Moeslin of Fenton, Charles Moeslin of New Melle, Jim Moeslin of St. Peters and David Moeslin of St. James; three sisters, Martha Scholl of Altenburg, Cordia Kiebeck of St. James and Frieda Newberry of St. Louis; three brothers, George Hoehn of Frohna, Leonard Hoehn of Brazeau and Curt "Pat" Hoehn of Fruitland; 34 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Young & Sons Funeral Home East Perry Chapel in Altenburg.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg with the Rev. Charles Weber officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
