ST. LOUIS -- Emilee Anna (Loos) Peterson, 72, of St. Louis passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016.
Born June 9, 1944, in Cape Girardeau, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Pauline Krieger Loos.
Emilee was a longtime member of Christ Memorial Lutheran Church in St. Louis.
She was retired from Laclede Groves, where she worked as a hairdresser for many years.
A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Emilee is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Glenn Lewis Peterson; a daughter, Michelle (Johnny) Hursong of Cincinnati; a son, Troy (Mindy) Peterson of St. Louis; three cherished grandchildren, Milo Peterson, Violet Hursong and Ezra Peterson; a dear sister, Juanita Norris of Cape Girardeau; a nephew, Scott Norris; and a niece, Pam Franklin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda Lou Loos; brother-in-law, Bill Norris; and nephew, Steven Norris.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
