Emery Alvin Moore, 82, of Delta passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014, at the family home.
He was born Jan. 4, 1932, in Qulin, Missouri, to Jess and Stella Deckard Moore. He married Lenora Louise Williamson, who preceded him in death in February 1969. He then married Yonetta Gibbons on Aug. 1, 1970.
Emery was a member of Full Gospel Church in Advance, Missouri. He was a retired hand sewer at Florsheim Shoe Factory in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Joe (Pam) Moore of Scott City and Kelly Moore of Delta; a daughter, Sue (Ernie) Payne of Chaffee, Missouri; a stepdaughter, Ginger (Randy) Reigert of Chaffee; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by a son, Roger Moore; five sisters; and a brother.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. J.D. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Kenyon Cemetery at Delta.
