JACKSON -- Emerson J. Wade, 85, of Jackson, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 1992, at Jackson Manor.
He was born Nov. 16, 1907, at Jackson, son of Burrell and Emma Bollinger Wade. He and Ruby Sheppard were married Feb. 6, 1932, at Jackson. She died Dec. 24, 1989.
Wade worked at Kasten Masonry 45 years, retiring in 1969. He was a member of Harmony Masonic Lodge in Cape Girardeau, and St. John's United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Eugene Wade of Jackson; two daughters, Frances Pringle and Lois Withers of Jackson; a sister, Erma Thomas of Milwaukee, Wis.; 15 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two children, two grandchildren, a brother, three sisters, two half sisters and a half brother.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jimmy Merity will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from noon to service time.
