McCLURE, Ill. -- Elvis Irvin Dirden, 54, of McClure, formerly of Anna, died Tuesday, June 27, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 14, 1941, in Cobden, son of Irvin H. and Mildred Winningham Dirden. He and Patricia Ann O'Cordan were married July 11, 1987, in Odessa, Texas.
Dirden was a certified mechanic at The Finish Line in Cape Girardeau. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Tracy Mayberry of Jacksonville; four sons, Billy Tyson of Pocahontas, Mo., Forrest and Clark Dirden of Jacksonville, Shane Dirden of Jonesboro; two sisters, Ella Duschl of Anna, Naomi Wickliffe of Odessa; three brothers, John Dirden of Wolf Lake, Bill Dirden of Anna, Carl Dirden, and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna after 9 a.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom Miller officiating. Burial will be in McGinnis Cemetery near Anna.
