MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Elva Alice Lincoln, 89, of Marble Hill passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 5, 1921, at Millersville, daughter of Julius and Laura Lincoln Cook. She and Buford Lincoln were married June 18, 1968. He died Feb. 9, 1982.
Elva had worked for St. Regis Paper Co. and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Ina Mae Hurst of Marble Hill, Marie Missey of Potosi, Mo.; a grandson, Wade Moore of Jackson; a granddaughter, Tina Cray of Carterville, Ga.; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Charlotte Moore; four brothers; three sisters; and a granddaughter, Tracy Neubauer.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Poole officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery.
