ADVANCE, Mo. -- Elva A. Cagle, 89, of Advance died Sunday, March 4, 2001, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
She was born Sept. 8, 1911, in Trask, Mo., daughter of Ralph and Dona Hawkins Townsend. She and Bill Cagle were married Nov. 9, 1931, in Leora, Mo., and he died in November 1992.
She was a member of Brownwood General Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Camren of Advance; two sisters, Clova Duffey of Bloomfield, Mo., and Nadine French of Buchanan, Mich.; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and four brothers.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel. The Rev. Larry Jackson will officiate, with burial in Brownwood Cemetery in Brownwood, Mo.
