PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Elton V. Koch, 74, of Perryville died Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 11, 1926, at New Wells, Mo., son of Edwin and Hilda Scholl Koch. He and Dorothy L. Mueller were married Dec. 22, 1951. She died Aug. 10, 1991.
Koch was a retired dairy farmer. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church at Uniontown, Mo., and American Legion Post 133.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Vickie Weith of Perryville; two sisters, Vernell Bock of Frohna, Mo., Shirley Crawford of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; fiancee, Linda Fisher of Perryville; and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant daughters.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-8:30 a.m. An American Legion wake will be held at 7 tonight.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Grace Church, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
