ELSIE WINTERS

BERTRAND -- Elsie Winters, 92, of Bertrand, formerly of Vanduser, died Friday, Aug. 23, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Dec. 4, 1898, in Brooks Junction, daughter of Jeff and Lucy Roberts.

She married Roy Winters. He died Nov. 3, 1972.

Surviving are five sons, Benson Winters, Morley, Kenneth Winters, Berkley, Robert Winters, Oklahoma City, Okla., Ivan Winters, Mitchell, Ind., Donald Winters, Anaheim, Calif.; two daughters, Linda Bryant, Williamsport, Ind., Geraldine Perry, Bertrand; 23 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the chapel. The Rev. Marvin Graham will officiate.

Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Morley.
