JACKSON -- Elsie Piepenbrok, 95, of Navasota, Texas, died Saturday, June 15, 1991, at the home of a daughter. She was born Oct. 11, 1895, in Weimar, Texas, daughter of Fred and Albertina Dahse. She married the Rev. Paul Piepenbrok Nov. 18, 1913. He died in 1967. Her husband was pastor of Evangelical United Church of Christ at Jackson from 1935-42...

JACKSON -- Elsie Piepenbrok, 95, of Navasota, Texas, died Saturday, June 15, 1991, at the home of a daughter.

She was born Oct. 11, 1895, in Weimar, Texas, daughter of Fred and Albertina Dahse. She married the Rev. Paul Piepenbrok Nov. 18, 1913. He died in 1967. Her husband was pastor of Evangelical United Church of Christ at Jackson from 1935-42.

The couple moved to Texas in 1942. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ in Washington, Texas.

Survivors include two sons, Herman Piepenbrok of Bellaire, Texas, Martin Piepenbrok of Jackson; a daughter, Mildred Boring of Navasota; 10 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Paul; a great-grandson, Ryan Taylor; 12 brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Friedens Church. Burial will be in Navasota Cemetery, with Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota in charge of arrangements.
