EAST PRAIRIE -- Elsie M. Clark of East Prairie died Friday, Dec. 28, 1990 at Missouri Delta Community Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Jan. 24, 1922 in East Prairie, to the late Lawrence and Lizzie Roberson Myers.
In 1941, she married Loyd Clark, who preceded her in death March 10, 1988.
She was a lifelong resident of Mississippi County and a member of the First Christian Church of East Prairie.
She is survived by two sons, Gordon "Corky" Clark of East Prairie and Terry Wayne Clark of Wickliffe, Ken.; three daughters, Dixie Counts of East Prairie, Doris Marlow of East Prairie and Charlene Worthington of Benton; two sisters, Emma Bright of East Prairie and Mary Stewart of Doniphan; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, five brothers, three sisters, a grandson and a great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. in the Shelby Funeral Home Chapel in East Prairie, with Brother Martin Lucas of East Prairie officiating. Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
