DONGOLA, Ill. -- Elsie Goodman, 99, of Dongola, Ill., died Friday, Sept. 17, 1993, at the Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.

She was born June 28, 1894, at Dongola, daughter of Henry W. and Ina A. Davis Karraker.

She married John H. Goodman, Jan. 1, 1920. He died Nov. 27, 1959.

Goodman was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Dongola, Ill.

Survivors include a son, Carl Goodman of Dongola, Ill., a step-son, Harold Goodman of Lubbock, Texas; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son and a step-daughter.

Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Monday at the Crain Funeral Home in Dongola, Ill.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Dongola, Ill., with the Rev. Mike Van De Walle and the Rev. Floyd Stout officiating.

Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Dongola, Ill.
