Elsie Elizabeth Eifert, 92, of Scott City died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 6, 1922, in Fornfelt, the daughter of Daniel and Pauline Will Eifert. Elsie became a Christian at her baptism at Eisleben Lutheran Church and was later confirmed in the faith May 24, 1936. Elsie Elizabeth Eifert, 92, of Scott City died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 6, 1922, in Fornfelt, the daughter of Daniel and Pauline Will Eifert.

Elsie became a Christian at her baptism at Eisleben Lutheran Church and was later confirmed in the faith May 24, 1936. Elsie attended business college in Cape Girardeau and spent her career as a travel consultant in St. Louis.

She is survived by 10 nieces and nephews.

Three sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. She will rest at Eisleben Cemetery to await the resurrection.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Scott City is in charge of the arrangements.
