JACKSON -- Elsie E. Seabaugh, 82, of Jackson, died at Southeast Missouri Hospital Thursday, April 28, 1994.

She was born Feb. 12, 1912, near Licksville, daughter of Adolph and Ida Seabaugh Statler.

She married Harley L. Seabaugh May 16, 1930, He died April 4, 1967.

She worked at the former Perryville International Shoe Co. factory and at a shipping yard in California. From 1948 to 1973 she lived on a farm near Sedgewickville and then moved to west of Jackson.

She was a lifelong member of Sedgewickville United Methodist Church.

Surviving are sons, Paul E. Seabaugh, Millersville, and Gary D. Seabaugh, St. Charles; daughters, Glenda Seabaugh, Jackson, Brenda Cook, Marble Hill, and Delores Boothe, Jackson; brothers, Loy and Verlin Statler, both of St. Charles, Glenn Statler, Sedgewickville, and Merlin Statler, Highway 34; a sister, Hazel Seabuagh, Sedgewickville; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A son, two brothers, a sister and a grandson also preceded her in death.

Service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Sedgewickville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Howard Hardeman officiating. Burial will be in Sedgewickville Cemetery.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
