ELSIA LAYNE

SIKESTON -- Funeral for Elsia Mae Layne of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home. Ray Hannah and Mark Odle will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Layne, 83, died Monday, Sept. 14, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 20, 1915, at Risco, daughter of Raymond and Ada Huey Collier. She married Bryan Layne, who died April 15, 1987.

Layne had been a supervisor for a canvas manufacturng company.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Lange of Jackson, Shelia Bain of Sikeston; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
