ELSA FARMER

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Elsa Farmer, 97, of Mounds, Ill., died Tuesday, March 16, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 22, 1895, at Mounds, Ill., daughter of Herman and Julia Markey Loeschner.

She was married to Loyd Farmer, who preceded her in death.

Farmer was a member of the Villa Ridge Union Church in Villa Ridge, Ill.

Survivors include a nephew, Oscar Edwards of Mound City, Ill.; two nieces, Nota Miller of Mounds, Wanda Thompson of Princeton, Ky.; a great-niece and two great-nephews.

Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds, Ill.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds, Ill., with the Rev. Gerald Bethards officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge, Ill.
