Funeral for Eloise Wee Wren of Cape Girardeau will be held at noon Saturday at Greater Dimension Church. The Rev. Don Henson will officiate. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. Friday.
Wren, 68, died Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 9, 1931, in Tillatoba, Miss., daughter of Jake and Mary Smith Brocks. She and Clinton Wren were married in February 1946 at Charleston.
Wren was a healthcare sitter. She was a member of Word of Faith Fellowship.
Survivors include her husband; five sons, Curtis and Lorey Wren of High Ridge, Freddy, Clinton and Archie Wren of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Barbara Wren and Sheila Triplett of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, George and Jeff Brocks of St. Louis, Jake and Elmo Brocks of Buffalo, N.Y.; five sisters, Bea Craig of Charleston, Miss., Mary Lions and Lena Campbell of Cape Girardeau, Melvena Stuckey of St. Louis, Ruby Lias of Buffalo; 31 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, six sisters and a grandchild.
