Elnora Francis Heise, 81, of Jackson passed away Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, at the Monticello House.
She was born Aug. 26, 1936, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Elmer and Margie Bryant Borchelt. She and Harold Dean Heise were married Aug. 8, 1953. He passed away May 28, 1994.
Elnora attended school at Egypt Mills and attended the former College High in Cape Girardeau. For many years she was a seamstress for Ralph Edwards Sportswear and Thorngate Ltd. in Cape Girardeau.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Egypt Mills, where she was baptized and confirmed.
Loving survivors include two sons, Scott Heise and Jeff (Helen) Heise, both of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Brenda Harris of Jackson; three grandchildren, William Harris, Angela (Andrew) Stone and Caroline Heise: and three great-grandchildren, Emmalynn, Lucas and Eleanor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Doris Windeknecht.
The visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Egypt Mills.
The funeral service will be at noon at the church, with the Rev. Barry Pfanstiel officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Egypt Mills.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
