SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Elmo Wilson of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. The Rev. Buddy Hannah will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.

Wilson, 69, died Monday, March 16, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 14, 1922, in New Madrid County, son of Buck and cynthia Wilkerson Wilson. He and Edna Mansfield were married April 17, 1943.

Wilson was a retired farmer, andhad lived in East Prairie and Marable Hill before moving to Sikeston two years ago.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Wayne wilson of Loveland, Colo., Russell Wilson of Cushing, Okla., Darrell Wilson of Morehouse; two daughters, Dorothy White of Marble Hill, Linda Asherbrenner of Berthoud, Colo.; three brothers, Arnold wilson of Mississippi, Billy Wilson of Michigan, RayWilson of Siekston; 13 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters and two brothers.
