ELMO VANDIVER

CAIRO, Ill. -- Elmo Vandiver, 78, of Urbandale, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was a retired towboat worker, member of Tigert Memorial United Methodist Church in Cairo, and Cairo Masonic Lodge 237 AF&AM.

Survivors include several stepchildren, including Carolyn Ponting of Cairo, and Debbie Galemore of Charleston, Mo.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at Barkett Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth Provine will officiate, with burial in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until time of service.
