LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Elmer Leo Wubker, 88, of Leopold departed this life Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 18, 1928, in Leopold, son of Henry John and Frances H. Seiler Wubker.
Elmer was a lifelong farmer who served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954 and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold, Missouri.
Survivors include his sisters, Adel Wubker of Marble Hill, Missouri, Alene Fels and Barbara Seyer of Cape Girardeau and Wilma (Norman) Seabaugh of Millersville.
Preceding him in death were his parents; an infant brother, Edward Wubker; and sisters Josephine Holweg, Hilda Berghoff and Irene Beussink.
Visitation will be from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with Father David Coon officiating. Interment will follow in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Leopold, with full military honors provided by the Missouri Honors Team.
