Elmer Robert Westbrook, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born June 3, 1924, in Wilkes-Barre, Penn., son of Elmer and Helen Marlarley. Elmer Robert Westbrook, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born June 3, 1924, in Wilkes-Barre, Penn., son of Elmer and Helen Marlarley.

Elmer was a lifetime member of VFW 3838 in Cape Girardeau and was also a member of the Advance Eagles 4145.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Westbrook of Loveland, Co., Thomas Westbrook of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Geneva Wolfenkoehler of Cape Girardeau, Shirley Surlet of Chandler, Texas; a brother, James Westbrook of Advance, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance, with full military rites.
