ELMER SUTTERER

PERRYVILLE -- Elmer Joseph Sutterer, 80, of Perryville died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 1996, in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 9, 1916, in Perry County, son of John and Mathilda Amberger Sutterer. He and Florence T. Sutterer were married Nov. 5, 1938.

Sutterer was a farmer. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church at Sereno, Knights of Columbus Council 1263, and American Legion Booster Club Post 133.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Carolyn Seabaugh and Janet Huber of Cape Girardeau, Judith Pingel of Hillsboro; a sister, Elizabeth Huber of Perryville, John Sutterer of Taylor Springs, Ill.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-9:45 a.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Francis Agnew officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
