EAST PRAIRIE - Elmer O. Flick, 66, of Pekin, Ill., formerly of East Prairie, died Friday, May 20, at the Mason District Hospital in Havana, Ill.
He was born in Poplar Bluff on Aug. 30, 1927, to Henry and Sarah Deal Flick.
On Sept. 15, he married Faye D. Greer, who survives of the home in Pekin.
Other survivors include three sons: Ray Flick of Topeka, Ill., Jerry Flick of Pekin, and David Flick of New Franklin, Mo.; two daughters, Linda Tippett and Maria Scott, both of Pekin; one brother, Harold Flick, Sr., of Topeka; two sisters, Esther Chanley of East Prairie and Orpha Moore of Pekin. Sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by one son.
Flick had been employed with the Pekin Hardwood Lumber Company for 36 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Lighthouse Church on the Rock International at East Peoria, Ill.
Friends may call after 9 a.m., Tuesday, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 10 a.m., at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Burial will be in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
