ELMER KELLEY

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Elmer C. Kelley, 74, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Marion VA Medical Center.

He was born July 24, 1925, in Anna, son of Francis and Clydie Lingle Kelley.

Kelley had been a truck driver, and was a life member of Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455.

Survivors include his wife, Rosann; a daughter, Connie Wilkins of Jonesboro; a son, Ronnie Kelley of Jonesboro; four stepdaughters, Pat Beldhouse of Belton, Mo., Angie Bryant of Ullin, Toni Capel of Anna, Kathy Lentz of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a brother, Orin Kelley of Jonesboro; a sister, Mary Tucker of Wolf Lake; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several stepgrandchildren.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery, with military rites by VFW Post 3455.
