SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Elmer J. Hahs, 77, of Sedgewickville died Monday, April 13, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 4, 1920, in Cape Girardeau, son of James F. and Paulina Kibler Hahs. He and Ruby Seabaugh were married Feb. 18, 1958. She died Sept. 23, 1986.
Hahs was a farmer, and member of Sargent's Chapel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a brother, John Hahs of Silver Lake; two sisters, Odessa Friese of Loxley, Ala., and Clara Voges of Oak Ridge.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Albert Nyland officiating. Burial will be in Sargent's Chapel Cemetery.
