Elmer Franklin Gipson, 98, of Fredericktown, Mo., passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at Stockhoff Nursing Center.
He was born July 13, 1910, in Buckhorn, Mo., son of the late David Franklin and Martha Murray Gipson. He was united in marriage to Irma Irene Huffman, who preceded him in death June 9, 1995.
He is survived by a son, Ronald (Pearl) Gipson of Scott City; a granddaughter, Denise (Don) Martin; a grandson, Rob Gipson; and a great-grandson, Dustin Martin.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Johnny Clemons and Billy Wiggins officiating. Interment will be in Farquhar-Graham Cemetery in Buckhorn.
