SCOTT CITY -- Ellodee Avery, 61, of Scott City, died Thursday, April 9, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born April 19, 1930, at Advance, daughter of George Herman and Laura G. McManee Winemiller. She married Harry E. Avery Jan. 28, 1948. He died July 7, 1987.
Avery was a retired cook at Southern Cafe in Cape Girardeau, and member of First Free Will Baptist Church here.
Survivors include seven sons, Glennon Avery of Washington, Mo., Calvin Avery of Charleston, S.C., Douglas and George Avery of Scott City, Jeoffery Avery of Mt. Vernon, Ill., Randal Avery of Chaffee, James Avery of St. Charles; a daughter, Sherry Sturm of Scott City; three sisters, Lucille Harris of Cape Girardeau, Vivian Kinder and Etta Lee Mayberry of Scott City; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Lightner Cemetery, with the Rev. R.C. Stephens officiating.
