CAIRO, Ill. -- Ellen M. DeJarnett, 99, of Cairo died Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at Bertrand Nursing Center in Bertrand, Mo.
She was born March 26, 1905, in Miller City, Ill., daughter of Charles Love and Susan Frances Houston Hanley. She married James David DeJarnett, who preceded her in death.
DeJarnett was a retired dental assistant. She attended First Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Dolly Walker of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., and Frances Swank of Laverne, Calif.
She was preceded in death by a brother and five sisters.
Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo after 11 a.m. Friday.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ted Wimberley officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge, Ill.
