JACKSON -- Ella M. Wedekind, 99, of Jackson, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1993, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born Nov. 30, 1893, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Charles and Aguste Haupt Wedekind. Wedekind retired from Brown Shoe Co. in St. Louis in 1963. She moved to Jackson in 1981...

JACKSON -- Ella M. Wedekind, 99, of Jackson, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1993, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 30, 1893, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Charles and Aguste Haupt Wedekind.

Wedekind retired from Brown Shoe Co. in St. Louis in 1963. She moved to Jackson in 1981.

Survivors include a half sister, Lydia Kuntze of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by a brother, half brother and two half sisters.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. Thursday.
