JACKSON -- Ella Marie Lix, 66, of Jackson died Saturday, July 17, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 27, 1932, daughter of August and Agatha Bucher Goetz. JACKSON -- Ella Marie Lix, 66, of Jackson died Saturday, July 17, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 27, 1932, daughter of August and Agatha Bucher Goetz.

She married Geroid A. Lix in 1956 at Hernando, Miss.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Michael G. Lix of Cape Girardeau and Christopher A. Lix of Millersville; two daughters, Kathy S. Jones of Green Bay, Wis., and Dana R. Norris of Marion, Ill.; two brothers, Melvin Goetz of Chaffee and Norbert Goetz of Fenton; three sisters, Shirley Keesee of Scott City, Mary Ann Eftink of Chaffee and Doris Jean Brakefield of Bonita Springs, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
