ELLA LAWRENCE

BLOOMFIELD -- Ella M. Lawrence, 75, of Bloomfield died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.

She was born March 30, 1922, at Marston, daughter of Perry and Ethel Ashley Lewis. She and Ivan J. Lawrence were married in 1990 at Bloomfield.

Lawrence was formerly of Aquilla, moving to Bloomfield 20 years ago. She was a member of a Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mary Romero of Midland, Texas; three stepdaughters, Dicie Bertley of Louisville, Ky., Iva Henson of Dexter, Shirley Jones of Springtown, Texas; a stepson, David Henson of Springtown; a brother, Jesse Lewis of St. Louis; and a grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter after 9 a.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doyle Corlew officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.
