ELLA KOENIG

JACKSON -- Ella Koenig, 92, of Jackson, died Sunday, July 14, 1991, at the Deal Nursing Home in Jackson.

She was born March 3, 1899, at New Wells, daughter of Theodore and Otillie Petzoldt Scholl.

She married Martin Koenig on April 11, 1920. He died Oct. 1, 1986.

She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church at New Wells, and later at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Jackson.

Survivors are a son, Leonard Koenig, Jackson; two daughters, Irene Koenig, Jackson, and Virgie Roth, Afton; one brother, Hugo Scholl, Frohna; one sister, Hilda Koch, Jackson; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call today from 4-8 p.m. at the McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. Service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Eatherton officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery.
