SIKESTON -- Elizabeth Robinson, 77, of Sikeston, formerly of Bell City, died Thursday April 11, 1996, at Sikeston Health Care.

She was born Jan. 20, 1929, in Sparta, Miss., to Jimmy and Annie White Chandler.

She married Maj. Pearl Vee Robinson in 1944 in Osceola, Ark. He survives.

Other survivors include five sons, Eddie Robinson and Anthony Robinson, both of Kansas City, Don Robinson of Sikeston, Maj. Pearl Robinson Jr. and Causie Robinson, both of Haywood City; nine daughters, Betty Jane Robinson Long, Rose Robinson, Susie Robinson and Annie Pearl Jones, all of Kansas City, Bonnie June Robinson of Atlanta, Mary Elizabeth Shearns of Cape Girardeau and Bobbie L. Ross of Sikeston; a brother, Louis Chandler of Toledo, Ohio; three sisters, Louise Fields of Memphis, Tenn., Artie Bell Fleming of Columbus, Kan., and Ethel Chandler of Mississippi; 33 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Robinson was a member of the Travelers Rest Baptist Church in Sikeston.

Friends may call at Williams-Farr & Purnell Funeral Home in Sikeston Monday from 6-8 p.m.

Funeral service will be at the Bell City Church of God in Christ Tuesday at 1 p.m., with Elder David Pullen officiating.

Burial will be in J.C. Pullen Memorial Cemetery in Bell City.
