SCOTT CITY -- Elizabeth Lucille Moore, 73, of Scott City died Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Oct. 18, 1926, at Charter Oak, daughter of James Franklin and Essie Ethel Hicks Brantley. She and James Edward Moore were married Sept. 19, 1945, at Bloomfield. He died June 26, 1998...

SCOTT CITY -- Elizabeth Lucille Moore, 73, of Scott City died Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 18, 1926, at Charter Oak, daughter of James Franklin and Essie Ethel Hicks Brantley. She and James Edward Moore were married Sept. 19, 1945, at Bloomfield. He died June 26, 1998.

Moore was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Robertson of Union, Brenda Fortner of St. Charles, Pam Henderson of Scott City; a brother, Jerry Brantley of Scopus; two sisters, Camella Schleinger of Scott City, Gay Davis of Rapid City, S.D.; six grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
